I based the design of this website template on Bitner Vineyards’ wine labels and marketing brochures. They were particularly interested in marketing the spectacular view from their estate tasting room, so I came up with the slogan “Exceptional wines paired with an exceptional view!”

When Horizon Internet Solutions contacted me about this project, I jumped at the chance to work for Rosalie Sorrels, one of the living legends in folk music. I designed this template to have a rustic look, resonating with her status as a folk legend and her tag line: Way Out in Idaho. The foothills of Boise can be seein in the background.

This template employs a liquid layout, stretching to fill the width and height of the browser window and adjusting the content accordingly. Navigation elements are “sticky” and stay on the left side of the page, while the contact info and logo remain on the right even as the window is resized.

I started this project by creating a logo for the company, which you can see in the header image. This template randomly selects the header image from an internal folder, so the header changes every time the page loads.
